  • Successful completion of the course assessment – Assessment will be ongoing based on your in-class participation

If you do not meet these criteria, you will receive an eNESST Academy Certificate of Attendance. If you have not attended all of the course, the certificate will clearly state the number of hours you attended.

Meet Your Course Instructor

Idowu is an accomplished finance and investment professional with over 23 years of experience, spanning macroeconomic analysis, banking supervision, and monetary and financial statistics compilation and analysis. He led the establishment of the Flow of Funds Statistics compilation and analysis for the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), which provide detailed information on the interconnectedness of the various sectors of the domestic economy and the rest of the world. He also developed the templates for the compilation and analysis of the Balance Sheet Approach (BSA) Matrix used for the assessment of potential vulnerabilities in the macroeconomic sectors of the Nigerian economy. Beyond his professional career, Idowu is dedicated to knowledge sharing and capacity development. He is a member of Subject-Matter Experts at the CBN International Training Institute in Abuja and has facilitated courses for the West African Institute for Financial and Economic management (WAIFEM). He also tutors candidates for the CFA and FRM programs. Idowu has a PHD in Data Science and Business Analytics from the University of Texas as Auston, an MSc from the University of Leicester in the UK, an MBA from Kwansei Gakuin University in Japan, and a BSc in Economics from the Olabisi Onabanjo University in Economics in Nigeria. He is a CFA Charter Holder and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Nigerian Statistical Association. He left the services of the Central Bank of Nigeria in December 2024 as a Deputy Director in the Banking Supervision Department to dedicate more time to providing accounting & financial reporting, corporate finance and business analytics services for small and medium enterprises domestically and internationally.
